Designed by David Stevenson, the Butt of Lewis lighthouse was built to aid shipping in the 1860s. Unusual for a lighthouse in Scotland, it is constructed of red brick, and is unpainted. The station was automated in 1998, one of the last to be converted.

Unframed Giclée Print on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper in a choice of three sizes, with or without a border.

Hahnemühle Bamboo is made from 90% bamboo fibres, making it an environmentally friendly paper choice.
This natural, warm-toned paper has a soft, lightly textured finish which provides exceptional results, particularly for warm hues and monochrome prints.
